Vascular Screening

Riverside Diabetes provides full cardiac testing and care to you. Many patients with diabetes suffer complications of heart disease. We take a proactive stance in screening our patients for cardiovascular disease.

We have a busy ECHO and peripheral vascular studies team. They examine the structure of your heart, valvular function and strength. Our Peripheral vascular services looks for arterial or venous disease in the legs or carotids.

We provide cardiac stress testing read by a board certified cardiologist. This helps us to determine poor circulation of the arteries of the heart.

Riverside Diabetes also has ambulatory monitoring capabilities. We utilize Holter monitors that track your heart rhythm and look for palpitations or irregular heart beats. These miniature monitors can be worn anywhere from a couple of days up to a month.
